Youth Partnership Sierra Leone welcomes and invites you to explore and see what
the Lord is doing for post-war Sierra Leonean Societies through your generous supports.
With over the many problems communities are faced with in post -war Sierra Leone, we are sure you will find something that interests you. You
will see the many creative ways our staff achieve the strategic focus:
Reaching young people and their communities everywhere within Sierra Leone, working together
with the local churches and other like-minded partners to raise up
lifelong followers of Jesus Christ who lead by their godliness in lifestyle,
devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of
Christ and commitment to social involvement.
Democracy is slowly being reestablished after the civil war from 1991
to 2002 that resulted in tens of thousands of deaths and the
displacement of more than 2 million people (about one-third of the
population). The military, which took over full responsibility for
security following the departure of UN peacekeepers at the end of 2005,
is increasingly developing as a guarantor of the country's stability.
YPSL is therefore using relief and community efforts in transforming lives and the people within the communities they are living in.
